Ugh Scratched my Porsche with Compound

To the OP...

I worked with a local guy who had NEVER used a simple dual action polisher before in his life and his first car was his' boss's black Porsche.

Point being, if Joe could do it you can do it too and the guys on this forum will help you from beginning to end.

Here's the write-up I did for old Joe...

Hey guys
I realize I was an idiot for hitting it with this stuff. But, according to the label, it seemed like it would work for scratches.

But maybe Porsche paint is too soft.

Attached is the damage I did. In fact, here is a better pic: https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd...._=1406845887_f3ef4359ba736502e5aca3f9743187f1

PLEASE realize that its FAR worse looking in the picture. In fact me and my lady-friend couldn't even see these it in the sunlight, and we checked twice. But in a garage you can see these swirls.

Once again please realize its far worse in pic. I can take some better ones tmw.

Your not an idiot. With no detailing experience how would you know. Most of us on here have seen or done a lot worse and it has nothing to do with intelligence. Just a lack of experience.

I'm sorry you had to have someone post something like that on your thread. I've been on here for a couple years and have never seen anything like that.

I'm about 45 minutes north of the cities and would try to help.
