I noticed that as well! I asked him about them and he uses a lot of the Pinnacle line up.

I doubt there are many cars out there running around with 7k wax on their wheels!!!!

Those reflection shots are simply amazing.

That is sweet :righton:

Having the gooroo of detailing using Pinnacle says a lot if you ask me.

So why shop anywhere else for products, there you have it the Pro's use Pinnacle....nice!! :awesome: :awesome:

i went on his web site .its pretty interesting. if you want to make an apointment he says he has to check his diary:p and you have to register first. long waiting list i quess

Justin thanks for showing these post from over seas. They have some awesome detailer. I do enjoyed reading them, and the pics are awesome.

Thanks Justin, that was very interesting to read. Loved the color, especially when they were done.

I use only Pinnacle and DP products now. They are simply the best for the money. It's nice for my customer's to get something used that they cannot find in a local store. Makes them feel important.

Thanks Justin. That was fun reading their process. It was neat to see that he has a lot of professional respect for you.

That is one amazing detail. I mean, we all think we do a good job on our cars but this just takes to to a whole new level that I doubt many of us will ever attain!!!

But what I don't get is that all this was done for a Vauxhall Astra. I mean, that car is worth about $25K tops. In my opinion, if you have a Porsche, Bentley or Ferrari, sure. But not for a daily driver Astra...

Very interesting. I think most people would be relectant to start taking the clear coat off on a new car because it was a little high. At least I think I would be.

Hi guys........

Thanks for all the kind comments about my vxr.........

Been round the world and ended up here.....cool

So firstly car based 30 miles from London in kent countryside....

Secondly Paul has done a fantastic job on the car because he cares about what he does......

Thirdly i have had many people ask me why?

Why when its no Aston Martin or Bentley.....

My answer is simply because it matters to me the same as i spent 6 hours today waxing the insides of my wheels and tomorrow they,ll get dirty.....But its what i love...the pride of seeing my car being glanced at as i drive up the street , the pride of knowing that the paintwork has been treated the same as a ferrari or Veyron and lastly because i know that i can keep it like this because i wash it every day with filtered water i have in garage and wax once a month.......

Paul has only skimmed off 2 microns of clearcoat and the factory paintwork had a bad what i would call pin pricking effect on it when inspected by paul....

I am not here topraise Paul or big up zymol just simply enjoying seeing my car being viewed by others the same as i view others and look in awe whether its a pick up truck or ford gt......

Oh and my favourite qd on my shelf

vxrmarc,

WELCOME! Thank for chiming in. I asked Paul's permission to post this but didn't ask for yours. I'm so sorry. I knew you probably wouldn't mind.

Thanks again for joining up here.

Marc, thanks for joining.

My favorite bit about the whole article? It was the re-upholstering of the seats. I was very interested in that...

:iagree: I'm with you 100% All of us are really anal about how our vehicles look otherwise we would not spend thousands, yes thousands on wax, pads, MF towels...ect...for just keeping a car clean. It's a pride thing, its being proud of what you own and taking care of what you own. I'm so with you on this.

By the way what's with the trophy?

Nice to see you over hear and you got a wicket vehicle and it looks gorgeous.

you know a lot of us get asked by family and friends why we take such incredible care of our cars and we can justify it, he just takes it up a slight notch and i see nothing wrong with that. the VXR is a very nice car and you probably have one of the best looking ones around! thanks for sharing justin, that was a pretty awesome write up

Holly s... thats "heavy" detailing. As said before her at AGF, detailing IS a addiction.

Let me know if you guys ever come to Norway, ill keep my car in the garage with the lights off.

Great to see you on the AG forum Marc

Hi guys.....

Damn im 40 today and spent 4 hours feeding seats and waxing yes waxing interior piano black inserts and door strips today....They have come up awesome!!!

The trophy is actually from silverstone race circuit the home of british motorsport...

Back in the early 1990,3 i helped run the 205 gti club of great britain which in its time was the start of a mad craze for small hot hatchbacks known as pocket rockets. Originally driven by the likes of ari vatenen and the peugeot rally team was run by ferrari legend jean todt....The car was called a t16 turbo and peugeot replicated this into a road going car of which i had one of the first in the uk....

The competition was a concours held at silverstone of which there were 650 entries from all over europe and at the end of the day i came 2nd......The car that beat me had had a respray which i later found out.......I spent 40 hours detailing the car by hand and even drove to the circuit with the bonnet covered in black bin liners and had 75 litres of water in boot to clean wheels and arches at circuit........People thought i was mad but 15 years later i still have the trophy sitting in the garage but it does need a good clean now!!!!

If i had a $1 for every time my neighbours say "you,ll wash it away " Paul will do my weekly wash!!!:D

Just for your info my photobucket account this month where my photos are stored has had 3,100,000 hits!!!!!!!! NO JOKE!!!
