Right now, I have a few MF Chenile mitts and an Ulti-Mit. You guys think I'll be ok using my Ulti-Mit with the ONR this winter or should I use something else? Anyone consider using a small boars hair brush with the ONR (or any of the waterless/rinseless washes)?

Quick! Before this mid 60 degree tease in the middle of November goes away!!!

:D

hehe i totally ignored the post...hmm i guess chenille MF would be great

will the wool/sheepskin mitts work with onr?

To use with ONR I'd recommend Cobra detailing cloth MF towel. I wash and dry my ca with the same towel and had no issues. Be sure to rub the towel across grit guard everytime you dip it in to remove any dirt/grime.

I have been using the Cobra Bone for my ONR washes and it works great. The internal sponge holds a ton of ONR and I feel more comfortable using it. If you have a MF chenille (sp?) mitt I would use that personally. And like supercharged said, regardless of what you use make sure to thoroughly "clean" the mitt with the Grit Guard to avoid any marring.

Grout sponge from Home Depot?

/scratches head

I was actually thinking of purchasing a Schmitt so that I could finally compare it myself with the Ulti-Mit. Hmmm, maybe I'll just insert an oversized regular sponge INSIDE the MF Chenile Mitt.

OMG, dibs on the copyright, patent, etc. for a dreadlock MF Bone!

I do not think that you can go wrong with any of the products that you mentioned. I recently used the Schmitt Mitt with ONR and it did a good job on my Black truck. I know of other that have used every one of the items mentioned in this thread with very good success. A lot of times it is not WHAT you use but HOW you use it.

Does it lint at all? Have any of the dread locks fallen out or is everyting iree (<-bad Jamaican accent) ?
Maybe a little when I first got it/ during first use. It has held up well and feels really soft. I wash it in washing machine after every use. Been used probrably 25-30 times. Over half ONR washes and rest regular wash. I don't put it on my hand, I just fold the elastic into the mitt and wash away.

I should try a grout sponge.. and if I find a chinelle meguiars mitt or something maybe i'll grab that too. Right now the Nano Detail Mitt from Surf City is doing well though. I notice that a lambs wool mitt is more slippery compared to a shmitt and MF mitt though.

I bought a MF covered large sponge to use with ONR. I dont know why, but I thought it sounded like the best option, we'll see.
