Ultima line up

As I said before seems like a interesting product line...expensive....but what has me curious is that the testers have not posted any results from it except Pat...if it was a WOW type product it would be posted to show the results....just have to wait and see I guess.....

AL

the line was test under the name red dot, or rd49. It will be interesting to see what they kept, changed, and modified in the end product. Pricing still should be reconsidered as I suspect this may hamper sales and thus introduction needed to keep line afloat.

Has anyone ordered this line up yet or has used it? It will be interesting what kind of reviews it will get especially when it is compared to other sealants on the market.

Here is a link to the for it...

NO LINKS !!

Someone needs to spend the money and do a review... Who is going to get the ball rolling on this one.:D

Did you say Sunday ... Sunday, really sorry but wife has something big planned. Yeah .. Yeah, big plans :p :p :p

If the foam block doesn't mar, I'll be interested. It COULD be user error, because someone who tried it out at the Ultima/UDM day said something about marring, but who knows, I can't say anything definite.

The tire/rim/trim sealant looked nice, but the price is up there. I touched the tire after an application and NOTHING went on my fingers, no smudge no oily stuff, and the look is a black matte finish. Just spray it on the applicator, wipe on, let dry, and you're set. It looked nice on trim and the rims too.

well has anyone tested this stuff yet?????????

I saw the products in action. The polish, didn't impress me. FOr 30 bucks, I'll go for Menzerna. The soap, didn't impress me, it seems like other good soaps out there on AG. The clay, I kept wondering if it would mar the surface, but it does seem like it will speed up the claying process since you don't have to knead, just dip it in a soapy bucket. There weren't any work lights to see if there was any added marring. The trim/tire/wheel sealant caught my eye. A few people picked that up at the UDM/Ultima day. The sealant, I dunno, wipe on walk away sounds cool though. The only products I haven't seen in action were the interior products.

Sorry to bump a 6 month old thread, but has AG decided if they are going to carry this line-up eventually or not?

Thanks in advance,

Pete

Seventy dollars for sealent, forty for tire dressing? Sounds a bit high to me. I already use Pinn., Menzerna and Optimum products and they offer all the lasting results that I could ask for, besides, why do I need tire dressing that lasts for months? If the products last too long, they'll be no reason for me to hang out in the garage and that wouldn't be good at all.

If you break down the prices, WOWA are as follows (no shipping, rough estimates). 70/12=$5.80/Ounce (36/4=$6.5 ouch), 29/6= $4.80, 24/8=$3. I bought the sampler back in Sept. and its quite nice, however, it certainly does not live up to the Ultima v. Zaino claims, which are quite comical.

Case in point, I will buy again when my 4oz runs out. I'm about 1.5 ounces through the bottle with at least 20 apps.

I really like the stuff for the most part, but I don't think I will be reordering when I'm out. Quite simply due to the price. But it is a great product in my experience so far.

What do you mean it does not live up to Zaino? In which way are you not impressed? You have not had the product long enough to even fully test the durability against Zaino (I haven't been able to fully test the durability either), so I guess you are going by the looks and slickness. But going by the looks of the paint and the slickness *I* prefer it 10:1 over Zaino. But I must agree :iagree: with you on how far the product goes; very little product goes very far. I am not trying to start a Zaino v.s Ultima battle here but I just want to know why you would find it comical about the comparison. (What was not impressive about UPGP)
