Ultima Waterless Wash Plus Concentrate :D

Ok, so I just got this product. I've been unplugged from the Matrix a while (sometimes I wish I hadn't been) and am always trying to find the perfect system to take care of certain cars. I enjoy washing traditional 2 bucket method but found on my garage queen I just wasn't comfortable shooting water at it. It leaks and has a bunch of electronics that I would not want to get wet. The answer for this car came in the form of Rinseless. When I found out about it I developed my own method which I later found out was many other people's method of presoaking, using 2BM and a good quality mitt. I save absolutely no time doing a rinseless wash though, not sure how people do. I actually take longer doing a rinseless but that is neither here nor there.

So with the car in question something that has been irking me a lot was that I am always cleaning a "clean" car, and that seems like a lot of work, etc. Basically there is only dust on the car which I know seems taylor made for detail spray, and while I'm a fan of DS's in general for drying aids, I've never, ever felt comfortable spraying dust and wiping, I just cringe doing it. So basically I would just rinsless, that is until today.

I decided to try a technique I've used in the past that I know a bunch of people do, but to add a new product into the mix, UWW+ I pulled out my old CA car duster (key playing psycho kill music)...Ok, I cringe too at people that crush these things down on their paint and drag them across it, man it hurts just to look at but since they didn't take the red pill like me they don't know anything is wrong. I will preface this by saying I only will use the CA duster on light dust that can be blowed off, never heavy dust or a film. I very light dusted the surface by "kissing" the CA duster on the paint which removed nearly everything and then followed it up with UWW+ and it looked fantastic.

I feel so much better about using the UWW+ than regular detail spray b/c if there is something left behind I have much more protection, and not to mention it is super convenient to be able to just saturate a small area if I come across some soil and know I'm still good. And the slickness this stuff provides (polycharge) is simply incredible, it is like you just waxed the car. Now to the smell...This stuff smells so amazing that I almost drank it, seriously I considered it, it smells that good lol

I've used a bunch of QD's and even some waterless washes and UWW+ is now my favorite. It wipes off effortlessly and I could not get other WW's to do that. Cost wise like everyone knows, it is the best deal going, hopefully they keep it that way :xyxthumbs: So I'm glad I finally found a product that paired with a light touch dusting can allow me to not drag the buckets out and allow me to "love" on my car without putting "love marks" on my car

That's also how I do WW - lightly dusting off the car with the CA duster by kissing the fibers... Then do a waterless wash. I love both UWW+ and D115.

You can't beat the performance of UWW+ for the price. It will last you a very long time. Also, I think there's really no reason to apply LSP anymore for protection. If one uses UWW+ or any other waterless wash with some wax on it often (like once a week), your car will always be protected.

BTW, very nice ride! My favorite color! Paint looks flawless!

Thanks! Yeah I have too many hours to count into 2 step polishing, it was so painful I just can't bare to spray the dust and wipe (even lite dust) even though I know UWW+ was designed for much worse. I feel like adding the duster step as long as correct technique is used keeps things ultra safe and honestly it is a lot of fun to wipe down the car this way.

I have a question for those of you who use the CA dusters, what do you do for the vertical panels? Is it not as big a deal since dust really doesn't settle as much or do you have another technique while using it?
