2004 F150 after using Ultima Waterless Wash Plus.
I was a lucky winner of a bottle of the new waterless wash by Ultima, It seems that everyday I could use it, it would rain but I finally used it today.
Pros:
Applies very easily (it is a spray you know)
Great lubricity when cleaning
Left a great shine
Good smell
Did not streak even when applied to black paint in the sun
Very easy to use
Cons:
None really to speak of
I am very impressed with the product, I liberally applied it to my Black 2004 F 150 and did not find any swirls that the product had caused. The truck had a light coating of dust but no heavy dirt to speak of. The product spread very easily with a quality microfiber and wiped to a nice shine with a dry one. It did not take a lot of wiping to achieve a very nice look. The picture above was after the use of Ultima.
Conclusion:
I feel as though this is a quality product with a place in many people's arsenal in car care. I personally feel that when used as intended it will not cause any maring or swirls but I do not think that even a waterless wash is intended to clean heavy dirt. I do not think that it will replace a traditional hose wash or even a rinse less product such as ONR, but I DO think that it is the ultimate product to use if you drive to a car show or cruise spot where you will be looking to clean your car after a drive and there is more dust than you would feel comfortable using a QD on. I have tried other waterless products from other manufacturers that are not featured here at autogeek and I am confident that this IS the BEST waterless wash product I have tried and wholeheartedly would recommend this product to a fellow enthusiast.
