You have a greater task ahead - I can imagine how to wash your ride back at down under only 2 bucket full of water-

Its just simply amazing...how effortless & easy to care for the most tedious / filthiness area....of our wheels, this is the most important place to begin for any car wash...(kindly allow your wheel to cool down prior washing, as at some extreme brake our rotor may get heated till 300 degrees or so) not i wait you wash the kind of thing

most of the wheel damages is done the wrong way of washing ...with aggressive cleaner with chemicals like degreaser as such found in wheels cleaners
impose danger to both our skin & inhalations....

allow me to share with you

TIPS
pls allow your wheel to cool down prior washing them - as not advise to threaten both extreme temperature -
and most car owners or detailer want an instant gratifying results - so much so - strong acid base - wheels cleaner are use often in this area - corrosive even to our skins & hands - threaten the wheel coat as prematurely worn down

as for mine

in just 3 minutes-

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ More interior Detail++++++++++++++++++++

oily dressing is something is irritating - as it will trap dust & dirt , and once your your sleeves wipe across accidentally ta da - oily dark stained out sleeves

1stly old dressing must go - with power clean diluting 1 part 3 water & agitate with soft bristle hair brushes & wipe down with damp MF
P1160487.JPG

as for me i rather choose a UV coating base product instead of shinny looking ( dust attracting) - as Optimum leather protectant do not cover up like others dressing does - but will definably prolong the oxidation part

:iagree:Opti-Coat is fantastic and it does what it supposed to do and that is protect your car's paint and other surfaces ! The benefit with OPTICOAT is that you add 2 microns at a time ( when you apply one coat ) so more coats means more microns that's the benefit with OPTICOAT! Two coats four microns !

totally agreed

Resuscitation achieved! Did the previous owner hate this car!?

Outstanding work once again, KC!

BTW, for al the readers who do not have to work in such heat, I can assure you working at 90F+ and high humidity is much more difficult than it would seem. Polishes behave differently and the humidity makes a sticky mess of everything, especially the gunk you have to clean off before polishing or the stuff on leather and interiors. It takes double the time to work in these conditions. The Optimum spray compounds excel in these conditions! Other compounds are just too hard to work with.

Thanks, KC! The 5-series is an great car!

Thanks jlb85 for your kind words....... You got me ....LOL - this was a chauffeur driven & i believe it was in the wrong hands of care....

Thank you so much for affirming the issue of polisher in heat - yes it is very true - more effort & time consume before I can move on - esp when I use paste like compound - extremely short time to work & easily cakes up vs hard to buff off...so much so it is like a burn mark...LOL - but thank God for Doc G - OHSC & OHSP which has both AD & SMAT technology that ease off my load

Thank you for taking time to read & advise
Thank you for yr wise words of wisdom - i learn another new thing from you
