wash them at a laundry mat that doesn't have an agitator!!!

lol....i dont like the 8 inch pads anyways....so it wasnt a big deal

Ouch. That sucks. I do all mine by hand for that very reason.

That really is a doozie Scott, sorry to see that!

ya i try to do mine all by hand ...but when you a fulltime detailer ...it takes alot of time ...the 6 inch pads and all my other pads are fine in the washer....i think the size was just to big for those pads

I am sorry....i was all my pads in the washer....but i don't have any that large. Good thing it was just two!

Agitators suck.... front loaders last a lot longer!

OK ...I'm a total beginner here ...so, it is safe to wash pads in a washing machine that doesn't have an agitator? My front loading machine doesn't. What detergent is it safe to wash them with? Can I just throw them in with towels?

thanks,

I wash all of my 6 and 4 inch pads in the washer with no probs. I don't have any 8's though. I bet the added mass that was there when it filled with water killed them. That's a lot more area to absorb water and be tossed around.

By the way,
Arm & Hammer's Concentrated (yellow bottle) is best detergent I've used to date.

ya all my other pads wash fine ...those were just a little to big

8 inch foam pads in a washing machine isn't really a great idea.
Wool pads on the other hand are ok

I've got a top loading boss (made in oz) 8kg washer and don't have any trouble with all foam pads from 4 to 7.5 inch but the edge pads can't take it for some reason.
LC and Sonus DAS are the only foam I use now
