I have tried a bit of undercarriage detailing!
I got under the lower portion of my car and sanded and polished the silencer to a 'near' mirror shine(as I couldn't get a machine in that tight place!)
And cleaned up the suspension parts with cleansing and degreasing wipes and applied UTTG to most of the stuff(as I though that that stuff would really hold up against dirt/moisture etc.)
After my brief stint, I realized that at least a 2 post lift is really essential and would reduce a lot of head banging against the car's underbody and neck and hand strain while working on the underbody!
I'll be getting a 2 post lift for a car home I'm planning.
Btw for the fender-wells, I have a rubbery anti-rust coating on there and it really looks good after a quick rinse with the pressure washer > dry and GG undercarriage spray!
