Unfinished brushed aluminum wheels

So I had a customer asking about cleaning and polishing some aluminum wheels on his honda bike. I swung by and looked at them and they have what looks like some major pitting and brake dust on them. I have the Wolfgang aluminum line on order but will that fix pitting? I put some polish on it to see and it cleans up with polish but still looked crapy. Will the aluminum polish help this? I read up on aluminum but not a lot really mentions pitting.

Pitting cannot be removed by a polish ... the damage has moved into the actual wheels material. You might be able to make it less notable with a good polishing however.

I use fine grit steele wool and aluminum or metal polish. The results will impress you.
