Up Close & Personal: Wolfgang Uber All In One

Can i assume you're talking about a white "CCS" pad as opposed to all the others AG sells? for the follow up coating of WGDGPS 3.0 would you recommend a CCS in blue or possibly red, or something else?

My mistake for not being more specific. I was in fact referring to the CCS foam.

Blue/red (CCS) are perfect for applying the sealant.

Another newbie question...whats the best way to apply this with the ROP/white CCS combo? One set of side to side passes followed by a set of up and down passes per roughly 2'x2' area (is that called crosshatching?). Or do you have to do that same set, but multiple times. I don't want to overwork it, or underwork it, as ive never used an AIO.

Work the product until a thin film remains. This usually takes between 6-8 overlapping passes.

Uber AIO is very easy to use and is also very forgiving. You'll have it mastered after one panel. :dblthumb2:

Is there a cure time before topping either the AIO or the DGPS?

Uber AIO requires 4 to fully cure, so you shouldn't top it immediately after applying it. DGPS needs to cure for 12 hours.

Nick--have you had a chance to use this on hard clear coat like VW?? How does it perform??

I am so excited to receive Uber AIO on Friday. It will be hard not to have the car prepped and ready to apply. I have a feeling that Uber AIO and DGPS 3.0 is going to be an insane combo, especially when you factor in the short cure time for AIO. Being able to apply same day is huge!

Uber All In One is perfect for this application.

It will remove the dealer installed sealant while depositing its own sealant. For even more shine and protection, add Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant.

Most importantly....take photos! :postpics:

The car has a good deal of orange peel in the paint. I didn't want to do a multi-step correction just yet as it's only a month old, so I just used the Uber AIO after a thorough wash. Here are some pics:

I can't really tell if it's any glossier than before (although i think it might have sharpened the reflections a bit), but hopefully the protection will get me through 7 long months of winter weather.

Looks great! I stripped my DGPS 3.0 tonight, did Iron X and clay. Tomorrow morning Uber AIO goes on, then once it cures, DGPS 3.0 again.
