Love the lotus :wow: . I have been in love with those cars for a long time, and you hardly see them.

I like these cars too, they look so cool... like they're moving even when they are sitting still...

I've been told the paint on this is all swirled out. No problemo, have some new goodies to showcase.

:)

They are all gorgeous but the '56 Chevy reaches way back for me...in a good way. Mike these new product lines sure do create a lot of work for you. Job security I suppose but aching muscles and long hours come along with it.

Awesome cars Mike. I hope to make it down for a Thursday evening session soon!

The Shoebox Chevy's are some of the MOST popular cars in the car hobby world, you can't go to a single car show and not see a wide selection painted and modified in just about every way.

You also see all the guys on "Car Guy" TV shows constantly picking these cars because,

A: They resonate with a huge demographic group that are do-it-yourselfers.

B: Their body lines are timeless. They look just as cool today as they did when they were built. I'm not sure we'll ever see as people restoring Toyota Camry's and Ford Fusions in 20 years the way we have always seen and will continue to see people fixing up and then at some point, polishing the paint on classics like these.

Some of you might not know this but Autogeek actually sponsors the larges 1955, 1956 & 1957 Chevy Discussion Forum here,

TriFive.com

And we have a very sweet 1955 Chevy on next year's season of "My Classic Car" with Dennis Gage to showcase a number of products and techniques for using the products.

Heck, even Barry Meguiar owns a black 1957 Hotrod Chevy!

Working on cool cars is always a labor of love.

Stay tuned because you're going to see some amazing cool "stuff" after SEMA. I've already been using some of the more exciting stuff and will post pictures of cars I've already buffed-out but the excitement starts the everything goes public.

The products talked about in this thread are some of the cool new products I'll be showing on the above cars...

Top Secret!!!

But there's more...

A handful of guys in the world have had a chance to play with some of the new stuff and I'll just say... I'm impressed...

We get back on Saturday, November 9th. R&R on Sunday. Catch-up on Monday.

Shooting a new episode of Ship Shape TV on Tuesday so I'm planning on having one of the above cars in the first post here on Wednesday to showcase what's NEW!

Hang tight...

Some great cars :)

One of my favorite cars of all time is the 1937 Chevy Coupe because I love how the fender lines trail into the door panels plus the side mounted bucket headlights look cool too mounted to the side of the grill.

Awesome cars Mike. I hope to make it down for a Thursday evening session soon!

You need to carve out the time and be here. In the last 4 years a LOT of really cool cars have seen some very amazing transformation take place here at Autogeek. There's actually no other place you find these kinds of project being done on a regular basis except on TV.

I'd like to have something red.

Save your nickels and dimes...

Very cool colors you rounded up Mike.

Patiently awaiting to see these beauties go through the Autogeek Show Car Garage.

It always comes down to earning the trust of the guys that own them...

(The picture beneath is a '55.) Like most folks here this huge build up for the new product line has me checking often to see if it has been divulged. Quite the hype I must say. Even though I'm pretty much out of the game now I still enjoy watching how much things are changing since "Simonizing" the car with Dad. :props:
Both products and methods have changed drastically in a relatively short time.

Barry Meguiar told my son at Detail Fest "My favorite car in the whole wide world is a 57 Chevy".He ended up giving his award to a 2006 Mustang.(At least I helped to polish the Stang on one of the Thursday night makeovers).:buffing:

I know that. That's called a typing mistake. I posted this quickly, (as quickly as possible for the amount of words I posted and pictures I inserted). I was simply trying to post my reply before I had to attend a morning meeting.

I know my Chevy's and I spent half day working on this car with the owner Mike.

Now that the

Hey SEMA only comes around one a year and and new products only come around once in a while. Meghan and Nick are doing a great job of creating awareness for the new product line in their Top Secret thread.

My job will be to show it in use and the results just like I do when I showcase any of the brands we carry on AG.

That's an accurate statement as I testified to in another thread just this week. See post #23 and #24
