Upkeep for combating swirls?

I have a dark blue car, and several years ago I buffed out the DSSM with Wolfgang TSR with satisfactory results but as the years have gone by the swirls are getting added back. I know it's a bad idea to do paint correction/compounding/TSR frequently because there's only so much clear coat, but is there any thing I can do on a semi-regular basis (e.g. once a year) to combat the inevitable swirls and light scratches? Would something like wolfgang finishing glaze + no cut pad still be too aggressive for once a year use?

The only regular maintenance I do now is wash and paint sealant frequently and I do it quite fastidiously (two buckets, high quality MF, etc.) but no one is perfect and not all swirls come from things I can control.

Using a fine cut polish and a "foam polishing" pad is not very aggressive at all. I'd use it without hesitation to refresh the appearance of any factory finish.

Using a great one-step is another great option if you don't plan on using a coating and you can top with the sealant you already have.

I'd recommend the BLACKFIRE One Step instead of a polish and if you let if fully dry it will be easier to wipe off than a polish.
