Yesterday I posted a series of pictures of two coats of UPP after a two step correction with Menzerna 1500/4000 using a Dewalt Rotary. This morning I added a topping of Pinnacle Souveran Pase Wax. The Souveran added some additional depth to the reflections. Applying the souveran is much like any other high quality pase wax. Removing it and producing the final shine is a bit of work. You have to apply a fair amount of pressure to get it off and be prepared to go over the vehicle at least twice to buff it out. Your experience may vary. (As in the first series, the hood is not sealed/waxed as it was recently repainted.)

It looks terrific!

If you don't mind, I think I can offer a bit of constructive criticism that would explain your effort. Two things...

First, UPP requires 24 hours between coats, and by association, 24 hours curing time before topping. (It will also take all the setup time you can give it...I usually try to wait an hour after applying a super light coat before I remove it.)

Souveran, like any wax, really, should be an absolute breeze to both apply and remove. My guess is that the short time/over-dosing of UPP factored in here, but I'm also wondering if you used too much product?

I don't know where you got those parameters. The UPP instructions state 6 hours between coats. I waited 6 days. The wax was applied twenty four hours after applying the second coat.

Fair enough....certainly not trying to offend. Your bottle of UPP is obviously newer than mine. But now I'm really confused why you encountered issues removing the Souveran. In any case, the car looks great.
