Usable Power??? PC7424xp, GG6, G110v2

For you flash I will gently set it on your steps... Seriously going to turn the PC into a dedicated carpet brush once I buy a GG or flex.

I see alot of ppl doing this. Plus its always good to have a backup in case #1breaks mid-job

I have an original PC 7424 and it turns a 5.5" low profile pad just fine. I've corrected really beat up paint to a high gloss with it many times. It will stop if I tilt it even slightly, but if the pad is flat, it'll turn it even on speed 5 with 20lbs of downward force.

My old Griots felt like this ^ The new one however runs smooth as silk! Even on 6 :)
I don't run on 6 very much but I still go to my Megs da when the buzz from my GC starts to bother me. I thought maybe it was because it was one of the first of the 2nd generation GC's but the other day it fell off the work bench busting the housing and Griots replaced it with another new unit which feels about the same to me.

Now you have me paraniod again thinking my new unit doesn't have the same power as the old. Please don't do this to me :(

I had a PC, Flex and now I have a GG...the PC was the first one I owned..it worked ok was annoying that it would be to easy to stall it out. I bought a Flex last year It was nice..ran smooth built well and powerful..doesnt stall cause of forced rotation but then it will fight you if pad goes a little tilted. Then I sold my PC and bought a GG after that the flex collected dust..I sold the flex because I really never used it once I started using the MF pads and the Low profile hydrotechs with my GG machine. I dont really get any major vibrations from it either.

Was your PC the XP model?
Have you ever ran the Meguiar's G110v2? if so how's it compare to the PC/GG6?

Does the GG6 stall like the PC?

i had the original PC..no the GG keeps on trucking long after my old PC would just stall
