How often is "normal use" for a quick detailer? I like to keep my vehicles as clean as possible at all times. I'll use a quick detailer after a light rain, or just to freshen up the appearance.

I only use QD if all I'm removing is dust. The rest of the time I step it up to something with increased lubricity like ONR or Optimum Opti-Clean to reduce any risk of marring.

:iagree: dust, or fingerprint smudges. Anything more and I use ONR, Meguiars Last Touch, or diluted FK425 :props:

QD only after a wash for me ;) And I use it every time I wash (Marc says I wash my car twice per mile driven), sometimes 2 QDs and a spray wax...

Used to always use FK425, but after Opti-Clean, I haven't touched a QD since.

I haven't used a dedicated QD since I began using Ultima Waterless Wash+

Many spray waxes are just as easy to use and affords more protection than QD's

UQW for me after washes

I only use quick detail for clay lube. Although, I just ordered the Finish Kare because of the anti static properties and will see how that works. Probably use only after a wash.
