Uses for old 5.5" pads?

As the title states what do you do with your old pads, and at what point are they garbage? Thinking of good uses for my 5.5" LC Flats. These are pads that are beat up, velcro backing is shot, or dust heavily that I have put into a separate bin. Now I am wondering what you guys do with your pads when they get to this point?
 
Not my idea but I believe it was CEE DOG's, Corey's, idea. Cut them into pizza like triangles and use them as applicators for trim and tires.

Yup! Cut them up to various sizes and use them as 'hand applicators.'

Thanks for the tip, thats a great idea. Any other ideas, I have several yellow, some orange and a few whites?
