I have a question in which I do plan to buy a hot water extractor to clean my car interior such as carpet and my car seats. I just don't know how to use and as well wanted to know what are the benefits and downsides of using these systems. Can some of you please let me know what are the advantages of using this system and as well how to use it in which some of the machines I seen go up to 1600 watts!!! What other things should I look for? I tend to use it for personal use.

For personal use nothing more is needed than the Mytee lite 2 which I have. They did update the current model, if money is no object then get what floats your boat, but I have to say I don't use mine that much only doing this on the side when work comes my way. Others will say get a steamer, I do like my Mytee.

For personal use, you might not really ever need a hot water extractor. Especially if you are taking good care of your car. If you still insist on getting on, the Mytee Lite 2 is an awesome machine for the price. If you are on a crazy budget, I have seen people on here get really good results from good technique and one of those little Bissel green ones.

I agree about the mytee lite 2. Like it was mentioned earlier that's a lot of money for personal use especially on a well maintained vehicle. Another option would be renting one if you didn't think you would use it much. Also another option would be getting a steamer. You can still clean carpets very well and you get a lot more applications out of a steamer that may be more useful.

I have 2 Mytee Lite 2's the new version and the old version. I also have 2 VX 5000 steamers. I really think the Mytee is the way to go. If you were to have a problem with your Mytee Edgar @ Mytee will help you through repairing and replacing the existing issues. Edgar is the MAN!
