Truck has clear coated wheels from the factory. The wheels really got dull from when I got stuck in silt/sand at the lake.

Would using a PC on the bigger parts of the wheel be a bad idea? I have done little by hand and noticed some improvement with M205 but still not the way they were. Also the clear was not removed when I was stuck (first thing I checked)

I am going to order new pads anyways so the old pads would only be used for the wheels now.

Here is a picture to give you an idea. And yes a 5.5 pad does fit.

Thanks,
JonnyB

I have no problem getting 4" pads I just wanted some reassurance that using the PC wasn't a crazy idea of mine.

And THANKS!

Coated wheels is no difference than paint on your body.

Thanks! its good to see another person that cares about their truck. I can't tell you how many people keep telling me its a truck it should be dirty. They will never understand

I was concerned of not being able to do much overlap and keeping it moving. This DA is still new to me I have come from using a Rotary for the last 10 years so in the back of my mind I keep thinking of burning.
