Using polish on a newer vehicle

If you were to use say Meg's 205 on a newer vehicle with good paint will you enhance the shine and reflection? Or is it not worth it?

Nothing looks as good as a fresh MACHINE polishing and waxing using high quality products, even on a good paint or GREAT paint.

I'm going to post some pictures of the 1932 hotrod Model A I buffed out live at a car show last night. It looked great when it drove in.

It looked even better when it drove out.

So what your saying, I have a 2014 ram that looks great all washed and shined up to begin with, but if I hit it with 205 then waxed it, it would look even better?
 
Also, since I'm not "correcting" the paint would I still use 105 first? Or is that just for smoothing swirls and scratches
 
205 can be used as a stand alone product. No need to use 105 if the paint is in good condition.
 
I machine polished both of our new cars the day I brought them home from the dealership. The positive change was dramatic. I chose sealant rather than wax for longevity.
 
Thanks guys looks like I'm breaking down and buying a machine, have to do it at some point and not be scared of jt!
 
And more importantly, you should clay it before you polish! You would be amazed at the contaminants on a brand new or new car.

This is a great point many people may not think of when talking about a new car. This one step alone will make a car look better and the difference in the feel of the pain is amazing.

I agree on the dramatic turn when hitting a new car with mild/finishing polish. Last year when I bought my new GTI, I polished it up and the difference was amazing. Much better than the day it rolled off the lot. Even my family who never pays attention to things like that made all sorts of comments about how good the car looked.
 
Claying is being done when it stops snowing and they stop putting salt down!

True. In my book polishing falls into this as well. I don't even think about doing corrections or any heavy detailing until the treat of snow and salt are gone. It's just not worth the time.
