hey i bought a bottle of UTTGP a couple months ago, sticker on it says MFG 1/1/2011. some of it has solidified and now after a good shake i have a bunch of waxy solids floating around in the bottle...question is; is this normal or did i get a imperfect and/or defective bottle?

It is normal. No worries, it will work fine.
Sometimes they are there and sometimes they aren't.
The way I understand it it all has to do with contamination or lack there of...
If some particle of certain things are in the containment during the creation this is what you will find. It should not affect the functionality at all.
Edit: How solidified are we talking? I've never seen it solidified more than...Let me put it this way: If you shake it and it immediately shakes up like a snow globe your fine. I've never seen it where it doesn't immediately shake up or where there is enough of it that it is noticeable on the bottom.

He's talking about Tire and Trim, not Paint Guard Plus.
Give it a hell of a shaking and see if you can break up the flocculant. It's a side effect of the stuff being as active as possible, it tends to polymerize a little in the bottle. Don't worry, it will still work 90% as well as before. The UPGP doesn't seem to have this occur as readily. Definitely normal with the UTTGP.

My UTTGP has a sprayer
Had no idea. What's the manufacturing date on it / when did you buy it? Wondering if they changed it away from / to a sprayer.

I'll have to look when I get home. They swapped over the top a while back. My bottle is pretty old, I don't use it a lot because it lasts so long and it doesn't take much.
