Every year I visit the parents in Florida, this year was no different. I flew in Thursday and drove to Stuart to hang with Mike and the crew for a Thursday night detail. Got to play with the new duetto from rupes, along with the new pinnacle line up. All sweet products I must say. For putting up with me, I detail a ride for the parents while I'm here, this year they bought a new to them Cadillac. I shipped some car-pro fixer and reflect, a nano skin towel, hydro tech pads, wolfgang sealant and micro fiber towel. I checked a bag with my flex for the flight.
A trip to the parts store to get some turtle wax no rinse wash, chrome wheel cleaner and tire dressing wrapped up supplies.
Wheels and tires were done last night as well as the rinseless wash. I used rinseless for lube for the nano skin. Today I used the fixer and reflect. I did not like the fixer, got gummy and dried like a paste. Was a huge pain to remove. However left a great surface, probably lsp ready. Reflect on the other hand was fantastic. Easy to work, easy to remove, fantastic finish.
Finished up with the deep gloss sealant. Was probably the fastest job I've done, less than 5 hours.
No too many pictures since I started after dark. The wheels probably have never seen soap. Old people love their automatic washes. They were bragging to their friends and may have picked up a detail job while here on vacation!
