Vacuum Question

Okay: 2006, Honda Accord, black upholstery inside.
Shows every hair, fragment of hair, lint, dog hair- geez. It's not very often but it's a nightmare. I see various vacuums for sale through Auto Geek, but does anyone have a great vaccum that gets the fine stuff off of black upholstery? Oh yeah, I've used the dog mit and it has limitations.

I have heard great things about the metro vacs but i think it really just takes time to get black perfect. I use a 6.5 hp shop vac personally. It has done everything i could ask.

My craftsman shop vac (6.5 hp I believe) along with a dog hair brush will leave any color carpet looking clean. Now I do have to use it more often on my black carpet, but it looks great after its done.

Here's one that I learned from one of our members. Spray the carpet with Snuggle Fabric Softener 10:1. It's anti-static properties will help release the hair. Let sit 5-10 minutes. Rake hair into vac with rubber glove hand or dog mitt.
