Valet Parking

yea it's an expensive place, but we only go there once a year, so it's no big deal... plus we don't live together yet or have a house... i'm pretty sure when we get a house together, we won't be living as 'high on the hog' as we are now. :nomore:
 
Here in Los Angeles almost every place is "Valet" parking. If I am by myself I park my car myself off lot somewhere. But if I am driving the Cobra and am with the girlfriend, well, she know the story. I will pull up in front of the restaurant or club and tell the Valet to hop in the passenger seat. When he starts to say I can't park my car myself I just hold out a twenty and say "sure I can, and you're even going to let me take two spaces" And surprise, surprise! Suddenly I capable of driving my own car and parking it without the world coming to an end.
And I not only park it and take up two spaces, I get to lock the car, set the alarm, and pocket the keys. Funny how worry free a dinner can be under those circumstances.
