I just purchased a Vapormore Primo Steam Cleaner and the question I have is when you "steam wash" the exterior of a car, will the heat from the water or steam remove any wax or coating?? Thanks in advance for any advice that I receive!!

Theoretically, yes the heat of the pressurized steam will remove wax

You should be able to easily test this hypothesis during your 1st wash

Why did you decide on using steam to clean the exterior of cars?

Personally, I think washing a car using steam is inefficient and basically a marketing ploy

At this point in my life, I am only detailing on weekends, it's become a hobby for me, and I like having all the equipment I need to do a great job!! Steam is easier to wash and to remove any wax or coatings, without using a lot of water!!

What makes you say that?

Which coatings are you able to remove with steam?
