Good Afternoon,

It's been a while for me, as I'm experiencing a huge increase in business this spring!

I'm looking to purchase a few additional products to add to my arsenal and was hoping some of you could chime in on them.

1. Part of my spring success is directly related to OptiCoat Pro applications on new vehicles. I feel that I'm missing that perfect product for a new vehicle one step polish. Menzerna SF4500 is to fine and PF2500 is a bit much for a new vehicle. I'm considering SF4000, strictly for one step polishing when polishing a new vehicle prior to OptiCoat Pro application. It has a bit more cut, but the same shine as SF4500. What do you think?

2. Tire Cleaner. Typically, I use Megs Wheel Brightener because it works. I understand that it's a bit harsh, however when detailing a clients vehicle for the first time, it's my go to product. I would like to also have an affective wheel cleaner for maintenance washes that's much safer to use. I know everyone loves the Sonax Wheel Cleaner, but from a business point of view, 100$ for a 5L container is to much. Maybe something like the Megs Non-Acid Wheel and Tire Cleaner or something similar. Suggestions?

3. IronX Snow Soap Substitute? Currently, I use the ironx snow soap formula when washing vehicles that have been previously coated and on vehicles being coated. Originally I bought this product on BOGO and I like it, but at full price it can be expensive. Is their a similar product that can be used via a foam cannon?

Thanks

Don't really have suggestions on other points but just want to caution against the Megs Non-Acid wheel cleaner. Frankly I find it to not be effective and it is really harmful to your health (gloves required).

I like the P21s wheel cleaners but the cost factor might not be what you are looking for here.

SF4000 has been widely discussed as a very good AIO so no issues from me.

I have used Amazing Rolloff in the past and that's pretty good. To keep my inventory low I have a few multi-use products. In this case I replaced this product with Megs APC+. It works very well. If you want a dedicated product then I would go with Mothers Foaming Wheel Cleaner.

None that I am aware of. Based on what I have heard over the last few months I suspect this gap will be addressed by a few new products. Dodo Juice, Wolfs Chemicals and AutoFinesse has decontamination products. I just finished my IronX and will be seeing how Dodo Juice Ferrous Iron Remover fares in the next few weeks.

Thanks

Tuff Shine Tire Cleaner is amazing. As for wheel cleaner I use P21S gel wheel cleaner then maintenance washes just use soap. But I'll repeat myself and say Tuff Shine Tire Cleaner is good stuff.

You might want to consider OPT Hyper Polish to do the OC Pro prep. According to Chris/Yvan you can just to a dry wipe after and go straight to Opti-Coat.

I like menz 4000. You are correct...slight more cutting than 4500 but great shine. Easy to work with. Menz is my go to.

I just bought some Wolfgang uber and poor boys wheel cleaner to try out. Both are strongly recommended in the forums for their cleaning power. Meg's is also well thought of.

ARO and tuf shine cleaners both good, but since I just used tuf shine sealant for the first time and the tuf shine cleaner was used to prep tire, I was impressed enough and I bought the gallon of tuf shine cleaner and it will be my go to.

I agree and a large range of cut with this product depending on the pad used. Finishes beautifully!

Just applied this product on my Volkswagen today. Seemed to work well. Hard to compare with IronX but my perception is that it is not as strong but also doesn't dry as fast either; and the longer working time helped me out better than the strength. What I found interesting is that when I applied this to my windows I could feel the grime being picked up and moved around - and those windows were washed like the rest of the vehicle.

I recently picked up a bottle of Blackfire Src finishing polish to use as a 1 step. Granted I've mostly used it on cars that are 3-5 years old but I've had good results with it.

I like Meguiars D143. If I need something less harsh or its not safe for those wheels then I just uses Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner. For maintenance wheel and tire washes. I use Meguiars Crystal Wash since it is relatively inexpensive.

For polish I like M205.
