Let us know how it goes justin very curious to see if you're new one does this aswell.
I just placed a order for my long neck too, hopefully i wont have any issues.

Well it's been a few months since I got the replacement and all is good for now.

Curious as to how 2018 treated you with the Nano? I have had the same problem - about 6 months after I purchased the long neck kit. Sent back in for service, and it was fixed and returned. 2 months later, same issue.

Love the tool, but not thrilled with its lack of reliability. About to send back for the second time and the same problem.

Knock on wood its this one has been great. No issues.
 
I was thinking of pulling the trigger on one, has anyone noted the battery degrade over time?
