Coasties!!!! I almost went Coast Guard.
James, you have to be over 6 feet tall to be in the Coast Guard! This is mandatory!

Reason: If the boat sinks you can wade to shore!
J/K Ed and other Coast Guard Vets & active. This joke was a Navy favorite!

Thank you all for putting your lives on the line to protect our freedom. May you each have a blessed holiday

:thankyousign:

ps...I worked as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army once when I was a child :o

Indeed a classic!! We also have wheels installed on our boat's keels since we dont go in deep water. I wont start with my Navy jokes. Inter service rivalries are always a good time and quite healthy I think.

Thank you ALL for your Service to our Country!!!!:applause:

I am glad to hear the lights are still shining bright in your garage Jim. If you can send me a pic of them one day I would love to see how you layed them out.

I would like to thank all service men and women, past, present and future. It takes a special kind of person to serve their country. It is not everyone’s cup of tea and that is what makes us a great nation. OK off my soapbox,

Retired Army, 11B, Infantry. 1981 to 2002. Got to do and see allot in those years and would not go back and change any of them,

Everyone have a great weekend, and when you see the flag take a minute and think about all that has been done to preserve it. It has been in every battle since the Americas was founded.
