I was a Data Systems Tech from 73-81. Was surprised they killed the rate. My last 4 years the Navy paid me E-6 to get an Electrical Engineering degree from Auburn. Served the rest of my career as a Nuclear submarine line officer.

Freedom isn’t free…
To all of our veterans, past and present (all of our heroes); There are simply no words to adequately describe the level of appreciation for those of you who have sacrificed so much. God bless each and every one of you and your families! You defend our freedom by putting your lives on the line. Many have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Many have suffered unspeakable things, and many have sacrificed more than we will ever know. You defend our country and make enormous sacrifices so that we can all be safe and secure here at home, so that we all can be free!!! (Freedom isn’t free). Thank you for all that you have done, and thank you for all that you do…Thank you!!!
