Probably the same problem Scott has been having with his vette.:(

Yah I figured, but think about it- I mean that could have flown off on a freeway, caused an accident.....

GM's been lucky, I don't think any accidents occured directly from the top, two friends had theirs seperate and one had it fly off while driving on 95'.

lazy boy chairs have lazy boy roofs:D. I could just imagine a roof hitting somebody or comming through a vehicle on the highway etc....the suit filed against GM would be waaaaaaaaay up there.

I guess if I see an 05-06 vette on the highway, I will not ride behind them and possibly become the first accident case.;)

I consulted an attorney locally after 3rd replacement. I was told the roof needed to mame or hurt someone badly before GM could be find neglegent and have to take car back or replace with newer model as Lemon Law in TX is harder than in Fl.

There's a joke in FL, your door locks go bad 3 times have the car lemon lawed, lol. Nevermind how easy it is to have a car with a washed title here. Considering the Vette roof wasn't an isolated incudent and plenty flew off on highways, GM's lucky no accidents/injuries have been caused from it that I know of.

So Kllr, how did she turn out this time?
And that is SO RIDICULOUS about the Texas lemon law. The LAW is the lemon there!
Surfer - Lazy boy chairs? What is with that, dude???? I thought you were cool butcha lost a point there .....rofl...hee hee...luv ya anyhoo!

Yah, somewhere, that roof is going to kill someone. It's wrong, plain wrong for a vehicle that averages 70k plus new out the door...

Empathetically,
Lauren

WOW! I didn't realize the Z06s had a similar issue. That's a fixed roof.

I have the TX Lemon Law book .... the manufacturer is allowed 4 seperate attempts to repair. In Florida its 3. Funny thing, the manufacturer gets to keep count so they can also discount a repair if they feel it was outside the scope of their bulletins. Sounds like friend got a lucky deal.
