Quick video to show how the beading action looks. Plenty of flat panels to show how well it works. This car has 2 layers on it at the moment, and we add additional coats monthly.

It should be in full 1080p in a few hours, anxious to share!

Excellent video those water beads is amazing and soothing to watch.....keep up the great work and vids

That looks AMAZING! love how fast the water beads up and rolls off. May I ask though, why are you adding more coats monthly? isn't that a lot of extra effort instead of just doing all the coats at once?

^ That's my question as well. Iirc, you stated in another post that each customer gets their own bottle of ceramic pro that gets applied to the vehicle so you're not applying leftovers of another bottle (or something to that effect). Does that mean you keep applying layers until the contents of the bottle are used, or until you reach a certain amount of coats? Either way, car looks amazing!

This car is driven hard daily for about about 2 months at a time, then left with us for a week. At the time we do a complete vehicle paint and interior maintenance.

Wash:
Full Decon: Permanent, chemical resistant coating allows us to wash the car with anything necessary to remove contamination. And since the coating is scratch resistant, there's nothing we can do during car wash that will scratch it. I use NO BUCKETS to wash this car. The purpose of this coating is to make maintenance virtually ZERO effort.

I posted the write up first to show that the paint is completely flawless and coated. As detailers, we can all agree the most important thing after paint correction is MAINTENANCE! Customers now have freedom to wash their cars anywhere at any price, and be protected.

Dawn Dwell, De-Ferrous Wash, APC on heavy areas.

The brake calipers are coated with STRONG which takes seconds to clean.

And we dry as shown in the video. A custom surface prepping solution is used to re-prime the surface before we start applying any used coating brought back. We charge hourly to recoat the cars, so its up to the customers to choose the coats. In this case, he would like one coat regularly.

Additionally, we never to use any spray wax, detailing sprays, or LSP. We tried waxing on top of this coat with wolfgang fuzion and pinnacle... it only left a haze.

For the interior, I did my usual leather purging and conditioning with hide food as in my previous posts. The leather always plush and grippy.

I don't think he was concerned about the cost, he was very clear when he said "do your best." lol I don't think there's much beyond this that falls under "maintenance."

I was under the impression from talking to a CeramicPro rep that this was a permanent coating like Opti-Coat. What is the benefit of adding additional layers if so? I could never imagine adding "additional layers" to an Opti-Coated car, or seeing any benefit thereof.

Just curious, not criticizing here. Interested to learn some more about this product.

Shoot me a pm, following forum rules :)

Both great products, designed for different customers.
