Wow!

Someone that gets it!

Around the 8:00 minute mark the guys says the put extra paint on the car which adds to the weight but then you'll have MORE paint to polish with to remove swirls and scratches. (paraphrase).

And he's right and it's also a HUGE service to the customer.

I predict that if a car manufacture would start putting more paint on their cars and point this out in their advertising literature and marketing plan as well as make the connection to their customer base what and why they are doing this, they would attract customers that are more intelligent and/or at least knowledgeable about one of the most costly aspects of building any new car and that's the paint.

Thanks for sharing...

Impressive - Crazy how in '96 they cam up with carbon fiber and in '98 I went to Embry Riddle Aeronautical College for a 2 week tour and they had carbon fiber incorporated in almost everything they did! I remember being young and dumb and punching a carbon fiber plate while another held it with two hands. "Of course it will break, its light as a feather!" Then I looked and felt like an idiot when my knuckles busted open and the carbon fiber was intact lmao. Spread that quick in 2 years! Wonder what will spread that quickly next.
