Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.

View attachment 65484

Corrected this today and topped it with BM. This is the 4th application I've gotten out of the 16oz bottle and it's finally gone. Good thing the stuff is cheap and I got the extra gallon! Bead Maker? Should be called Money Maker.
Regular Car Reviews says BROWN BROWN BROWN!

I don't wanna look a gift horse in the mouth but how in the HE are P&S able to make this product so inexpensive? I mean its infomercial inexpensive and we all know if it debuted on QVC not alot of us would've given it a 2nd look! Directly because of its performance is why I'm buying the gallon size but also buying the gallon of their carwash soap, gateway!

Some shots from 24hrs after application.
The metallic flake pop is even more apparent to me. Gloss is still there, too.
I will be buying a gallon of Beadmaker!

Tires look pretty good too, LOL:props:

Anyone that used it noticed any scratch hiding/filling ability? I've bought it, just haven't had the time to use it yet. Seems with all the cross-linking creating a film there should be some benefit to the clear coat minor scratches. Thanks in advance

Its such a thin liquid, I doubt if it can hide even the finest of scratches..at least I've not noticed any hiding ability.

This is an LSP and contains no filling capabilities. This isn't a glaze. It's a paint sealant.

Can I still wax the car after using BM ? not right way but at some point afterward. or will I have to polish and strip BM off the paint first ? Thx.

This is a follow-up to my test where I coated the roof of my van with Beadmaker to judge how easily the rinse water blew off the roof. I use a Masterblaster 8HP blower to dry my vehicles. The question that I had was whether the "slickness" of Beadmaker translated into better water behavior. I washed the van this weekend. I would rate Beadmaker on a par with Gyeon Cure which is my favorite sealant for water behavior (ease of air drying) so far. Certainly as good as Cure, but didn't notice it being demonstrably better. Remember, my van is coated with Gyeon CanCoat. So pretty hard to pick between Beadmaker and Cure for me. Beadmaker wins on cost and Cure wins on application ease. I did not test for longevity since I apply frequently, so if someone found one lasted much longer than the other, I would rate that as best overall.

Wax over sealant, but not sealant over wax. Since BM is a sealant, it should be fine.

Yeah but understand this, you'll change the looks completely, so why not another layer of the $10.00 wonder

...when do pitchers and catchers report again

Used the Pearl for the first time today. I was disappointed using it in my foam cannon... worked well in the wash bucket but had to use 2 oz. per gallon instead of the recommended 1 oz. per gallon. Guess I will have to order another gallon of the green stuff from CG for the foam cannon. Cleaned well with plenty of lubrication. The Bead Maker is still holding up after six weeks and five washes. Gloss is still there but is not quite as slick. Going to reapply after next wash.

That sucks about the soap as I was thinking it WOULD foam well because of how thin it is, oh well, it's cheap and sounds like it cleans though.

Fries, was the foam "runny" with Pearl?

Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Yes , "thin and runny ". It had good dwell time though. I'm just used to the " shaving cream " foam that I get from the CG Honeydew Snow Foam

My gallon and 16oz bottle of beadmaker will be here Saturday as well!

It will be my first time trying it. Seems to be great for little money.

This might be the best detailing purchase you've made thus far.

Quick question...why the 16 oz AND gallon size of Beadmaker?
