I use vinegar to prep clean my interior glass. Does a great job of breaking up smokers fog or protectant fog, and is cheap. Does anyone here use vinegar on any other parts of the car for anything. I'm also not sure if it is actually harmful for anything. But I know it has a lot of uses.

It can be used on the outside of the glass for water spots.

I've found that a 50/50 solution of vinegar/water is quite helpful
in the removal of winter road salt residue on vehicles' carpeting.
