Vintage Liquid Glass Pictures

Jimmy Buff-it, a friend of mine and a Pro Detailer in Indianapolis sent me this vintage can of Liquid Glass for my antique car wax collection.

Might have been a different product besides the product I posted a picture of?

Liquid Glass is basically a cleaner/sealant, it falls into the category of waxes simply called Cleaner/Waxes regardless of what the specific protection ingredients are.

A person could use this or any cleaner/wax to clean and shine any painted parts in the engine compartment.

Here's two threads about cleaner/waxes...

Two threads on it here,

Saw a can of the one of the right in my dad's garage a couple weeks ago. I remember using it a long long time ago.

I have a current customer who swears by it, and requests I use it each time I detail his Cadillac STS-V.

Very easy to work with

I bought the Duragloss 111 CCP, I tried it today with my PC XP7424 and grey 5.5 lake country pad and found that this product was very easy to work with and gave a great shine. It actually looked (light blue) and smelled alot like liquid glass and bought it from my local NAPA store. Also Mike thank you for all of your threads/ links.

I was trying to remember some of the products I used back in the 70-80's. Besides Turtle wax and Color back all I could remember was Rain Dance. The was another one considered high end for back then. All I remember was it was a two step synthetic product and I think it was made by DuPont and was about $16 back in 1980 which was a lot for me back then. But I did use it on my 70 Mach 1 and 76 Saab 99.

What else can you remember? Thanks, Spiney

I don't see it. But I never saw the Phesent that blasted thru my windshield last Fall either.

Maybe the ghosting around the Vett?
