Having a problem with areas of my interior door panels and dash in my Corvette. Kind of a discoloration/ blotchy looking/ dried out looking... to somewhat describe it. Just bought the car a few months ago and everything looked great until recently. I am guessing the prior owners detailer guys kept it up with something that is wearing off...maybe.

Tried some 303...then some Armor All....303 seemed to help a bit, better than the Armor All but still can be seen.

Have read that numerous applications of the 303 over time will help?

Any help or ideas appreciated before I get too into this on my own

Its really hard to give advice without seeing what you are describing. Try to take some photos and post them in the message.

Remove the protectant and try some of that new Meguiars Leather Balm.

Its the gassing from the vinyl,a big promblem for corvettes in that year or older. If your lucky try scrubbing with a toothbrush and a little fantastic using moderate elbow grease.

If it's white looking,it's gassing from vinyl. If it's not white disregard could be something previously applied.

Stay away from armor all, they are crappy products that dont really do what they are supposed to. 303 is the way to go as the provide protection and do not leave an oily sheen to the surface.

I would clean it first with a leather cleaner like lexol or leather masters and then apply the 303

Have you tried cleaning first to remove previous protectant. Try a quality vinyl cleaner. Without pics I can only relate to a similar description in my daughter's car. Turned out to be sunscreen rubbed off her arms and legs onto parts of the door and seat. Interior cleaner cleaned it up.

I like using this product for cleaning C6 Corvettes'
vinyl panels' out-gassing residues (and I'll include
any accumulation of human skin shedding...):
Meguiars
Interior Detailer is a pump spray detailer for all car interior rubber, plastic and vinyl surfaces.

I often will follow-up with this product
(personal preference varies):
303 Aerospace Protectant, 303 aerospace, 303 protectant, aerospace protectant, 303 products, 303

Note:
I have also used these two products for,
let's say, more severe cases:
Meguiars #39 Professional Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner, clean vinyl, meguiars interior cleaner

Meguiars #40<br>Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner protects rubber, plastic & vinyl interior surfaces. Meguiars # 40 Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner and

Bob I need to get you a new camera

But thanks for the tip. I will be using those exact products on a C6 I have coming this weekend.

Wow pics look great...took ur advise but mine did not come out that good....303 helped but still can see inconsistency in the shades of black...maybe keep re-applying 303 over the next week to soak in some more?
