Vinyl repair?

Anyone have ideas on how to fix this? tyvm! It is not leather.



 
Aside from removing the seat covering from the frame and having the vinyl bolster replaced, the only other way would be to just purchase a whole new cover from the manufacturer and installing it onto the seat frame. Either way will probably be a similar cost. You can try a vinyl repair kit but those types of repairs do not usually last very long.
 
Thank you much. I knew it would be something like that. It is a 2005; I say, seat covers. My husband thought it would be an easy fix but I knew that wouldn't be the case.
 
It actually is a pretty easy fix (replacing that bolster panel) for a pro auto upholstery guy. If you take the lower seat cover off and take it in, he/she will use a seam ripper to remove the damaged vinyl section, use the old section as a pattern for the new one to be cut then quickly sew the new one back in with his industrial sewing machine in the matter of minutes.

A few hog rings and a pair of hog ring pliers and you can have the cover back on in minutes.

The hardest part is paying the bill for him to do it.
