Virginia Tech University Shooting

Any of you heard about this? I just saw this, there was a shooting at Virginia Tech and 21 students killed as of now, and the shooter died as well.

My girl know quite a few people at VT since she grew up there, I'm sure some of you may know some people as well.

Hopefully everyone is ok.
 
I just read that and now its up to 22 died. Sad story and sad that we always have to be on our toes about this stuff.

That bad! If 22 students were killed I doubt if the shooter even knew them and just kill who ever. Really sick!
 
ya i just hurd of the news when one of my suit mates came in and told me (i got to NC State) and i called up my gf (App State) and just told her that i loved her and told her and just wanted to hear her...i know it may be sappy but just felt like i needed too..

but ya, he prob didnt know anyone and just went off for some reason, and ya the world is a pretty messed up place and my heart goes out to those who lost someone today...
 
So terribly sad. It makes you stop and wonder what things will like in another 10 years. I am from Canada and we still have these tragedies take place here as well.
 
Yeh I just read its 32 people dead and like 29-30 seriously injured. Looks like they took one suspect into custody but the man identified as the shoot committed suicide. What exactly happened, was the guy a student there or what? One report I read said I guess the majority of the killings was done when the gunman stormed into a classroom and just opened fire and then continued for a 2 hours later into the Engineering Hall/Building.

Crazy...that's worse then Columbine, of which wasn't the anniversary around this time?
 
This is a very sad affair...Young adults going to school to better their lives and some person comes in and cuts it short on them ..This is a parents worse nightmare...I think every one should give a minute of their time and say a prayer for the lives that were lost...and for the ones wounded...this is very sad..actually Horrific....this will affect students every where wondering if they are safe...

Beyond horrible indeed! Please say a prayer as Al mentioned. What makes this even worse is the "platoon of trail lawyers" on there way to W.V.
 
its ashame to note that most people go to college to get away from this type of violence, and someone brings it to them. Plain disgusting and I pray this becomes the beginning of the end of this type of irrational behavior.

VT is in Virginia but I can see how you could be confused. I went to VT for two years and have many friends that go there currently...thank god none of them were injured but I still feel and pray for the families and friends of the people killed and injured today. It is crazy what this world is coming to some people are just sick.

I agree fully. It is really sad what the world is coming to.

My girl grew up in Charlotesville and Lynchburg. Thank God none of her family/friends were injured.
 
It is a sick world we live in. I heard the news on the radio on the way to school a few hours ago. I just hope that the madness will end.

That shooter is a sick freak, what a coward he is for killing himself too, It goes too show that gun laws need to be enforced better
