Virtual Car Show - South East Rods & Customs in Jupiter, Florida!

If you didn't have a chance to go to a car show over the 4th of July weekend, here's the next best thing... a virtual car show with the South East Rods & Customs in Jupiter, Florida. The first Saturday of each month the members of this club put their cars on display a the Abacoa Town Center just off the I-95 and Donald Ross Road (Exit 83).

The show is from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, and limited to 1973 and older vehicles. Featuring restaurants, live entertainment, raffle prizes, and a parade at 8:15 PM. Click here for more information.

We recently introduced a brand new spray-on compound from Optimum Polymer Technologies and one of the members from the South East Rods & Customs car club let us use his truck to showcase the new Optimum Hyper Compound. Rick the owner of this truck wasn't at this Saturday's show but I talked to a lot of his buddies that were and told them I would post the pictures I took a long with the video we made using Rick's 1970 Chevy Truck.

I also let them know that there will be a detailing class here at our new Studio and Training Center on July 31st that the members of this club are all welcome to sign-up for and attend.

Here's the link to information about the class

Detailing 101 Class: Machine Polishing - Saturday July 31st

And here's the video with Rick's truck... not that Dampsanding is being shown as well as the new Hyper Compound and Hyper Polish, both spray on products.

David Ghodoussi, President and CEO for Optimum Polymer Technologies came to Autogeek to make a video for our "New Products Showcase" feature here at our Show Car Garage Studio.

Here's a thread with more pictures of Rick's truck here at Autogeek's Show Car Garage Studio...

I didn't get the year but I believe this was a 1939 or 1940 Ford Convertible, very, very original except for the 12-volt upgrade from the factory 6-volt system...

As far as I could tell this car was all original except for the modern alternator instead of a generator...

You can quickly identify the 1955's from the 1956's and 1957's by the rear bumpers plus a host of other ways... (see below)

Some nice rides there. We had a small show here Saturday.

Nice rides ...that Chevy C-10 paint is amazing!!

I been crazy about the 850csi Bimmer for years now! The paint is very Unique, not sure i would take that route to uniqueness but...it's a 850!

Nothing like a day of Street Rods,Collector Cars, & Muscle Cars. I see the wagon shows a lil Patina!!

Awesome pics Mike!!:dblthumb2:

That is a cool show, glad you got to make it to it Saturday.

I would guess finding a drivable Chevrolet Vega would be something to see.

Thanks for taking the time to post the pics Mike! Very cool.

Wow Mike!!! That was great :props: Thank you!!
