Yes Bob will take those two brands but PBMG will sell them for Bob, Bob is not moving far, he will be in the same building, just a different bay.
I can guarantee you there will be no changes on how people are treated.
Anyone that knows Tony George will tell you he is a gentleman, great man, very kind and generous, we are happy to be working for him.

there could be changes on the wolfgang and pinnacle lines though? the guy is taking over because he wants to make profit. how long before he wants to find a way to make the pinnacle and wolfgang products cheaper to produce? i hope it doesnt happen but id bet money there will definitely be some changes...

I hope for all the employees sake nothing changes but I've been through a buyout from a single person owner to a corporation and it never turns out good. Remember it's all about money and profit. good luck to the new venture though. I'll still buy as long as the customer service and prices remain.

Most buyouts start out with "nothings gona change" so as to not raise any sirens or create any panic. As the months go by change inevitably starts creeping in... Worked 16 years in Corporate and one of those companies a fortune 500, so know all too well from experience. Bet we gona see a whole lot of Sonax being pushed through giveaways and reviews now too.
In anycase, well wishes to all involved, the worlds changing.

Wow... That is a HUGE announcement.
Congrats! Hopefully this will be similar to how 3M operates with Meguiars. Just acting as a holding company (for a lack of better/more detailed terms), and let PBMG still do what they've been doing for years... Develop great products and maintain industry leading customer service!

I hope this isn't too far in the weeds as far as a question, but I know (I think?) that you and Mike Phillips have mentioned Bob's leadership, inspiration, and support...does Terry Angstadt take over that role, and if so, what does that change feel like? Or is it you or Jason or Nick who is stepping into that leadership role?

To answer some questions Terry has actually been with us for last three months, he will be our leader moving forward and he is a great guy to work with I promise you.

Having worked business deals for 20 years, this is spot on. Of course "something" is going to change, otherwise there would be no reason for the acquisition. New owners ALWAYS have some different ideas, methods etc from prior owners. Profit motives also change. This is not meant as a negative or a positive, simply there are changes in all business deals.

You could always bring back that guy named Tim to work at AUTOGEEK.He can fill a bottle of the finest quality car care products with near precise measurements and speed as anyone.Plus as an added bonus his years of training under Mike Phillips would allow him to use the floor polisher equivalent to the Flex 3401 should the floors find themselves with random swirls, scratches, holograms, RIDS, water spots, oxidation, ect. It would be my understanding that he might be available for some part time producing.
