This one is in B-A-D state and should get some tlc, i wasnt suppose to touch it, but i couldnt resist swiping my ShMitt over the front fender to see what was under the dirt`n grime.

Acually the paint aint that bad, and if i had brought with me a longer power cord so i could reach the car with my rotary, i would try giving it a swipe og some MG83 too see what it could do with it.

So dont be surprised if i one day post a "extreme makeover" on this one, i just got to pull it out of the bushes first so i dont get eaten by a moose or something.

Do you guys/girls think Pinnacle Liquid Souveran would do it?

Pics taken while wet, its kinda haze.....do`h

OH yes there is some rust there also, so if this one gets my tlc it will only be 4 fun, its kinda sad that the car is in this state, because its a "classic" 80s ride with the "porsche" lookAlike and was a real head turner when it was in his prime.

No im not trying to start it......

Look great Truls! ;) I love the paint job. Did you trade it for your Evo?

the paint may not be too bad after all..you did a nice job bringing her back..if you play around with it keep us posted

You should give it your TLC and post the progress. It would surely be a fun project. Then if you could get it to run too, that would be really cool.

:iagree: That VW has potential to look good.

Pull it out of the weeds, I want more!!!! :D
I think the last bugs sold in the US was in the early 70s are so. Something like that.

Nice, old vehicles are the best to practice on and you usually get shocked at the way the look when your done with them.

Well done, oh and the pictures look great.

Thanks for sharing.

Oh my. look what Lindsay Lohan did NOW!!!!
LOL

Looks like fun in the making. Why was it sitting in the woods? Make it pretty for us, OK?

It was parked under a tree before (5 years or so), therefore it got like it is, tree sap, and moss all over. He needed the space where it was placed and just pushed it to where it is now.

Doing older cars is kinda ok, but they usually got a different type of paint on them, so they can be different detailing than a newer car.

Ill see if wife gives permission sometime during summer to do the car.

Red cars shouldnt look this way, right Lauren?
