i only did one pass with the sf4500. nothing else was needed since i didn't let anyone else get near the paint before me.
as far as menzerna and swirls/hazing/holograms go, FG400 is pretty amazing. i've used it before on other cars, and will be using it on this one when it needs it. it is fairly aggressive though, so you shouldn't use it unless you have to.
i've been washing it once a week, keep a bottle of optimum no rinse mixed as a quick detailer in the car with a microfiber for bugs and bird byproducts. basically what i am trying to say is that it looks amazing once a week.
my theory is to not over wash it, and not over correct it. it will never be perfect since it is a DD, but i get compliments on the looks so, obviously everyone else is not nearly as picky as i am.
BTW: did some paint thickness readings on this and i got about 6.5-7.0 on the roof, 5.5-6 on the hood, and about 4.5-5 on the vertical panels. fairly thick paint, so i feel good that a ways down the road i can do an intensive correction on it and have it looking better than it does now.
