This is my third incursion into polishing...
This one was pretty bad swirled... I even think it was buffer trails or maybe it was washed with sand.... but :nomore:

The idea was to get it in good shape only as it's a daily driver.

Steps:
Towels: Meg's Supreme Shine / Peak PKC0FM Microfiber Waffle Weave Drying Towel
Wash: 3M Car Wash Shampoo
Clay: 3M Perfect-it Claybar
Polishing:
- Polish: Meg's Ultimate Compound
- Pads: LC Kompressor Tangerine/Cyan HT 6" / LC HT 4" for polishing / LC Kompressor Gold (waxing)
- Backing Plate: LC
Polisher: GG 6" ROP
LSP: Collinite #885
Time to complete: about 16 hours ( 2 sundays)

All the car was done with the LC kompressor tangerine pads, but the pads got destroyed in the process. Under panels and front bumper was polished with the LC Kompressor Cyan pad.
I now regret not getting the entire car with the cyan pad, tangerine was great but it didn't provide enough cut and cyan should have left a more defect free paint.

Now to the pics! (a lot of it)

The meal!
The pads are really gone (3rd car only)... it's worse than it seems in the pictures because slats are almost completely ripped underside.

Nice work! Big difference! That puppy was seriously busted! Thanks for sharing the writeup. Now I would go over it with 205 or other finishing polish to really nock out the compounding traces that were left from the compound step. Being black you will see a HUGE difference.

I love the beads :)

Hey Corey, thanks for the input!
I have a new post about hazing.... I'm posting it soon

Some hazing do was left.... but..... I had time issue with this car as the owner was complaining all the time about how long it took.
And he was even paying very very cheap as it's a good friend of mine... I spent more money on this car without the 2nd step polishing than I actually charged....

Some sweet reflections in that video! Im the MAN
