Wally World stepping up.....

Yes sir...Motorkote it is.

Charlie, whenever you're up late tune your AM radio dial to "The big one" 700WLW and listen to The Truckin' Bozo show/America's Truckin' Network. They hail from Mason, Ohio and on a clear night can be heard as far south as Florida, and I've listened to them in the UP while fishing. Dale Sommers had the show for years at night on wlw, but is now on xm during the day as the real Bozo show. Dale's son Steve has the home(Ohio based) show now. Bubba Bo is the host when Steve isn't around and both do a fantastic job.

Walmart could be test marketing the new layouts in certain stores -- likely demographics based. They are always testing some new store layout and retailing concepts.

Walmart has a lot of stores would not likely invest in this kind of stock ($150 polisher) without test marketing them but then maybe they have. and this the result. There has never been an Surf City around here. They spent last year restocking back all their detailing stuff (and products throughout the store) after they went through the stock reduction (less SKU's) and got a lot of complaints.

The store in Holly Springs on 55 closer to Fuquay has the Surf City line. That is the only one I have seen it in in the Raleigh Area. If a store gets the Megs line I would think it would be that one.

Ok guys here a few crappy pics but you get the idea....the polisher and a couple of of packs of mf cutting/finishing pads where there and 2 days later gone.

somebody paid for that polisher big time.

NICE!! I'm going to Wally world now to se if they are carting it here in south Ga.. And auto zone and HO reileys! It would be awesome to be able to get the 105/205 locally!

I'll be hitting up my local wal mart in NJ to see if they have anything. I'll try to get down there today or tomorrow to see what they have. Last time I was there they had a lot of Megs "Consumer" products.

Tell me which one you are going to so we don't double up.

AHHH Indiana slow to move on this. Maybe in May...

Also, online walmart nor autozone show they do not carry these products.

As I said earlier in the thread, I don't really expect W-M to have the new detailing supplies here in NJ until the end of March or later. And I really don't expect to see the MF stuff or G110 at all, but you never know.

guys dont bother going ot the one in saddle brook or in secaucus. they both have nothing there.

Local Wal Mart here in Midland has Surf City stuff but I haven't seen anything else there, however I rarely go in there as I really can't stand Wal Mart. I very much prefer Meijer.

I still think we're too early for around here. The W-M's I'm usually in are Union and Kearny, Slickooz is near the one in...where is that, Piscataway?

i have about 6(maybe more) walmarts within 10 miles of me and only 1 had Surf City line so i really dont expect to see this on a shelf near me

Well after reading numerous post doubting the OP comment of Meguiars coming to WalMart and AZ , I decided to try and get the info straight from the horses mouth as the say. Calling 1-800-347-5700 I talked to a customer rep named Nick. He told me WM was getting all the products mentioned including the da an m/f line. This would only be at a select group of stores. He also said AZ was carrying Mirror Glaze products as of a month ago or so but did not have a list of which stores.I know that my local O'reillys will order 105 and 205. Now with that said these offerings IMO will not come close to the prices and specials that AG offers to forum members. These stores have no employees that IMO are qualified to answer various questions or help in the use of these products. As I have posted elsewhere I question the wisdom of this move by Meguiars but its their show and will operate as they see fit.

Thanks for making that call.

I will say there are 15 Az in a 25 mile radius of me and none are carring any mirror glaze products except #7.

here are the WM prices for 105/205. I do the best I can to buy all my stuff from AG so don't get me wrong but if I can get cheaper and not have to wait for it then I'm going to.

as 2old said wally world has NObody in this store that has a clue about what they are selling. This is where AG"S customer service comes in and In my mind its second to none!

I'm guessing that's going to be a pretty small group out of the 3000+ W-M stores in the US. I doubt W-M shoppers expect the staff to have any knowledge or ability to help with anything (I certainly don't), and one can only hope that Meg's is putting their forum address on the packaging of these products so users can get some guidance.

I see this turning out like the autoglym stuff. Detailers or hobbyists might grab one off the shelf if its cheaper than other places, but most people will just grab the turtle wax rubbing compound cuz its cheaper. If you go to my local wal-mart its blatently obvious with mothers and a majority of meguiars stuff that they are bought less frequently.

yeah i dont think they're gonna have it for a while. advance and autozone carry it year round though to be honest (mirror glaze productS)

I was in my Advanced Auto yesterday and they have M105 and M205 at $32 a piece. Wow.

Walmart prices are really good. On consumer prices, they're usually on par with Amazon... But they beat amazon with their M105/205 prices. Nice!
