Want a good laugh

This is scarier than watching a Horror Movie. I'm going to have Nightmares now.

Well there is plenty of these guys around the South Fla area. This one is just one i picked out from Craigs list.Anyone that looks at the Craigs list will find these type of guys from there area also.

I remember Earl Schribe had a company in Ohio that painted cars. Door handles, trim, logos and all. Reminds me of that!

Earl Scheib Motto: 'I'll paint any car, any color for $29.95. No Ups! No Extras!'

from a fellow Ohioan who remembers those commercials on TV...

Not going to mention any names but I've been to a high end Retail car lot. I wandered to the back of the lot behind the service bay and they were doing similar types of repairs outside. Rear fenders, bumpers etc. I'm like you guys aren't seriously doing paint work out here are you? Sure, why not as long as the temp and humidity is right. I'm like how do you control the impurities from the air getting into the paint.

According to them it wasn't a problem. I had to wonder if the persons buying used cars and getting their cars repaired knew this.

Of course I doubt their work ended up looking as bad as these pix do.

They weren't painting Trek's '98 BMW from this thread (What is this and how to stop it!?!? )were they? :bat:

One man's ceiling is another man's floor...

I was driving my 1959 Cadillac around in Newport Beach California and actually had a two guys approach me and offer to do the bodywork and paint it for $500.00 right then and there in the parking lot of an Autozone parts store.

These guys were serious...

A few years ago these type of roving body work guys converged on my town. They offered the same pitch, of on the spot body work. A friend of mine who is a police captain told me that these guys are part of a gypsy clan that migrates across the country. Some do body work (if you can call it that) and others do roofing. All of the work is of the band-aid sub standard variety. They arrive like a swarm of locust and then they are gone, leaving behind a lot of dissatisfied customers.
