Warm weather dwellers in winter.....

Hello.

Just a news flash for anyone that resides in a tropical climate in the winter......

All of us who do NOT live in such a climate are fully aware that you DO. It is not necessary to post that it is "77 degrees here in Florida/California" when someone posts a picture of snow, or says it is 9 degrees.

We get that you are not experiencing snow, and that it is warm there.


To put it in perspective, what if when you had a major hurricane in Florida and lost your house, I posted a pic of my intact house saying "Still got a roof and walls up here!".

Yeah...... one could deduce that from an area that didn't have a hurricane.


(This post is ENTIRELY tongue-in-cheek, so please hold the would-be venom....)

Yeah Pauly there like to talk in the Winter but in the Summer when it’s 100 degrees with 90% humidity, there covered in sweat.and there posting pics of the love bugs they got planted to the front of there cars…….

I’ve gotta say I’m guilty of only posting the weather here when it’s ungodly cold, but usually just because sometimes it gets ridiculous. Like today, it’s 40° (that’s good). Tomorrow it’ll be 4°, and Wednesday is 0° (that’s bad)…

Really makes you appreciate the milder weather though. When it was up in the 30’s I was out clearing the sidewalk in a t-shirt (and pajama pants, I’m not so crazy that I was out there “Donald Ducking” it! :laughing: )

40 degrees here today and I’m smoking chicken and then later in the week it’ll be 6, it’s so fun walking my husky Roenick at 3 am to urinate with a sling because he blew out his knee. I think us northerners really know how to take advantage of”nice” days whereas those down south get bored
