Wash all microfibers together?

I change vehicles way too often for purchasing to ever be a beneficial thing. Leasing is perfect for me I get a new car every 2 to 3 years. And I get to write it off as a business expense. I'm always under warranty. And as you know with BMW that literally covers everything

True but its cheaper to own when you keep them for the long haul and being a vehicle mechanic with tools and with the diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair them there is no sense in leasing them.

No question. If you keep vehicles for a long time or drive a ton of miles buying is the only way to go. I would want a new ride every three years anyway so leasing is perfect for me. I wish I could get a ride and keep it till the wheels fell off but I'm just not wired that way.

So anyway are you a member of the CCA?

I love getting to chat with fellow BMW owners. We are a special bred. Haha

to me and this is just my opinion but if the microfiber wash solution is doing its job then you should be able to wash them all together. Should not matter what is on each when they go in...the cleaner should get rid of the funk and give you clean towels

:iagree: CG's Microfiber Wash hasn't failed me in this area yet. However, I do separate my wheel and really dirty towels from everything else.

I suppose teh Pinnacle MF wash would perform just the same, but I have not mixed towels with that wash solution yet, so cannot say for sure.

I wash grunge towels separate from the others but I don't separate the others at all. As long as the towels are actually being cleaned you should be good to go. If your glass towels are streaking as a result then you have cleaner issues.

:whs: :iagree:

Skanky towels get washed separately but the rest get washed together for the most part. And they get washed well. And they get rinsed, rinsed, rinsed. Just like getting the process nailed for your automatic dishwasher. Doesn't matter how dirty the dishes are when they go in. If they come out looking spotless, they are clean!

Thats for sure. Have you been to an Octoberfest car event???

You know they just had last years like an hour from where I live and I couldn't go. Talk about a biotch of a situation. I was heartbroken. But I've been twice to the driving school in Spartanburg SC

I run all mine with an hour presoak, then extended wash with hot water, then extra rinse cycle

Dang that sucks. Im going to Mfest this year and Bimmerfest. I have been to the last 2 Bimmerfests. Also have driven the infamous Nurburgring in my 335i

We totally just hijacked this thread. Haha sorry

I just read through this thread and yes... it's now a microfiber/BMW thread... :laughing"

Just to bring this back to the topic,

One of the things I talk about in the how-to book is the topic of mixing microfiber towels used with water soluble products with microfiber towels used with water in-soluble products.

The point being that if you're extremely anal retentive about your microfiber towels, then wash towels used for compounds and polishes separate from towels used with anything that adds protection to the paint.

As for BMW's... yeah I own one sort of...

Thanks for the input. I will keep my wheel and door jam towels separate from the paint ones.
