Hi everybody, I have been watching long enough now:D I'm from Norway and is 17 years old, and my english is not veery good. This is the second car I have done after i got hooked on detailing. The first one, a red Toyota with extreme oxidation (still have nightmares.. Hehe)
Yesterday me and my
cousin washed and waxed his S2000, and it is in pretty good shape so no need for polishing (only Meguiars MG7).

Process:

Wash
-2 bucket method
-Autoglym
Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner
-Wheels, Würth cleaner for wheels
-Meguiars Versa-Angle wheel brush
-Meguiars Deep Chenille Mitt
-Dried with Cobra Guzzler
-Autoglym Instant Tar Remover on bugs in the front
-Autoglym
Instant Tyre Dressing (not good stuff)
-Meguiars MG40 Vinyl and Rubber cleaner/conditioner on exterior

Polish and wax by hand
-Meguiars MG7 Showcar Glaze, waited 2 min, and wiped off with MF
-Meguiars NXT Tech Wax let it sit for 30 min, and buffed off with MF
-Autosol metalpolish on
exhaust tips

Interior
-Quick vacuum
-Meguiars leather combo on doors
-Meguiars Leather spray on seats
-Meguiars NXT Interior Protectant
-Autoglym Fast Glass on windows

Time: 3 hours

(I can't get the pictures smaller, hope this will work)

Welcome! You and your cousin did an awesome job on his car. Very nice write-up too! Thanks for taking the time to share you work with us. I love the reflections you got off of silver; that's not an easy feat.

Just to clarufy:
  • Tandis1 detailed the car with his COUSIN
  • Their detail was outstanding
  • His cousin's car rocks
  • Tandis1 does not have a son (at least not that we know of):p
