My point wasn't to be critical of the wax aspect of the wash and wax but to question whether the wax interferes with the wash.
If a waxed surface pushes water (and soap) away from the paint then it makes sense to say that the soap and water are not allowed to do their job? At least not as effectively.
Some people like the water beading but I am not a fan of it. The beads just collect dust and other crap in them.
Also, I wonder if there is a true wax in the Wash and Wax or just some sort of shine agent?
