What is the drying agent??
Thanks Ryan

A chemical from a local company here in GA that is close by. Drying agents are a dime a dozen you just have to find one that works for you in this case. I'm fortunate to have a few different chemical companys in my area.

Very Nice ehuth1. I'm surprise to still see snow in Georgia this time of year.

Good one Gary! I haven't seen snow in about 2 years until now :)

Where at on the net can you get this drying agent?
Thanks Ryan

What state are you located in Mingraygt?

So I get that the soaking foam/soap releases the dirt, but isn't it true that you need the high pressure of the PW to get it all off? I'm assuming that a reg foam gun, soaked 5 min, with even a fireman's hose nozzle from a regular hose wouldn't see those results. Do you think that's correct? Also, what are your thoughts on those that might assume spraying 1500psi soapy suds directly into the paint will harm the clearcoat and possibly cause marring? I guess it would be better of me to ask you how you're applying the foam? Full force to dig it in, or just quickly around the car and let it sit?

The high pressure rinse after the 5 minute soak is what is moving most of this dirt or contamination. Now when I soak the vehicle I stand atleast 3-4 feet back so that I can apply a even layer all over the car. I'm getting better at this just as anyone else will. The secret is in the soap and letting it work it's magic. You must also prep by lightly degreasing problem areas that you would scrub to remove tar, road grime, bugs etc....... This really isn't a mystery for Sherlock Holmes... It works, if you let it work for you.

Guys, I use this setup daily now and on over 50 cars. It works. I don't even have a bucket on my truck anymore!!!!

Sounds like a great way to do them, as well as a nice time saver.

What's this 'DRYING AGENT' stuff ? And get I get my formely stained nicotine fingers on some ????

Rinse aids are very common in car washes. I used some from Cul-Mac years ago to aid in drying in mobile business. Stoners makes rinse aids as does just about every company that supplies car washes. Automagic has one too if I remember correctly. Most are highly concentrated and sold in 5 gallons or more. Initially when I read flash wax I though of Malco Flash but I gather that is not what ehuth is using.

Another fine job. Nice write up on the drying agent, interesting stuff.
